The document provide guidance on basic standards for labeling of time series charts to ensure that those examining the results have enough information to be able to accurately interpret the graphs. The document was prepared to guide staff and partners of the USAID Health Care Improvement Project.  The norms are presented in three categories: 1) a set of norms valid for any charts, 2) additional specifications for charts of individual QI team data, and 3) norms for charts of aggregated data across sites. The document provides annotated examples of time series charts that comply with the norms.  The norms are also available in French.
